Common Questions
Everything You're Wondering About
When should I open my pool in NJ?
Most NJ pool owners open between late April and Memorial Day. We recommend opening before water temperatures consistently hit 70°F — algae grows fast once that threshold is crossed.
When should I close my pool in NJ?
Close before nighttime temps drop below 32°F, typically late September through October in NJ. Closing too late risks frozen and cracked plumbing lines.
Do I need to do anything before you arrive to open my pool?
Make sure there's access to power at the equipment pad. If you have a safety fence, remove it before we arrive. The pool doesn't need to be fully filled — we'll handle the rest.
What's included in the closing service?
We blow out all lines, install winter plugs and skimmer protectors, remove hardware, winterize equipment, add a chemical kit, and install your cover — all in one visit.
Do you work on above-ground pools?
Yes. We service both above-ground and inground pools — all shapes, sizes, and cover types.
Do you supply the winter cover?
We work with your existing cover. If you need a new safety cover, contact us before scheduling and we can discuss options.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible. We fill up quickly in spring and fall. We recommend booking your opening in March and your closing in August.
